Rich Aged Dark Balsamic Vinegar
Our Aged (Dark) Balsamic Vinegars are made with red grapes & are imported from the birthplace of balsamic vinegar, Modena, Italy. Our dark, aged balsamic vinegars are aged for 12 years in oak barrels. Being from Italy they are rich & thick and are frequently mistaken for a balsamic glaze. Balsamic glazes add thickeners (corn starch, flour, etc.) to regular balsamic vinegar to make it thick.
Our balsamic vinegars are slowly cooked increasing flavor creating a higher quality “Grape Must” that is rich, thick and delicious. Our aged balsamic vinegars contain around 3 times more grape must than many normal balsamic vinegars. Being so thick, our balsamic really clings to your food. Our flavored aged balsamic vinegars begin as our 5 Star Traditional Aged Balsamic. Then natural flavored extracts are added to the 5 Star to create the many different varieties of flavors we offer.
